This will be the last weekly class offered on Sunday mornings. Future classes will be offered at 7:30pm on Thursday nights, beginning on Thursday Jan 24.

Because Lu Jong originates in Tantrayana Buddhism and Bön, this morning practice is a great compliment to Lhoppön Rinpoche's 10:00am teaching and meditation, also offered at Mayu on Sunday mornings.

Special Class for Charity - Denver, CO

This is a special Lu Jong class that is being held in conjunction with Nangten Menlang International, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche’s Buddhist Medical Center. Dec 10-16 is Charity Week in which Certified Teachers and Educators offer classes to raise money for the Nying Drod charity.

This will be a complete class in Lu Jong, including:

  • An overview of Tibetan medicine and its relationship to Lu Jong

  • The Nine Breaths technique for opening the three central energy channels

  • Instruction in all 21 movements in the Lu Jong 1 series, plus 2 bonus movements and 5 relaxation positions

  • Handouts for all movements to help support a personal practice in Lu Jong.

All donations for this special class will be donated to the Nying Drod charity. Nying Drod means warm heart, and was founded by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche to support Tibetans by educating children, providing medical care to the sick and elderly, and supporting monks in Tibetan monasteries.

If you’re not familiar with Lu Jong, or would like to get a complete class in it, this would be a great place to start! You would also be helping to support a charity that provides so much for a culture that has given so much to the world.
