Lu Jong, a simple series of body movements done in conjunction with rhythmic breathing, has profound effects on the health of our body, mind and spirit. By working with the body in this specific way, we can develop resistance to disease, mental clarity, balanced emotions and vibrant energy. In other words, through Lu Jong, you will find strength, stability and happiness.
Come join John in a morning practice to open the body and mind. You don't need to know Lu Jong to join the class. John will teach 21 Lu Jong movements as well as holding a regular practice. Newcomers will receive handouts on the movements to help them with home practice.
Because Lu Jong originates in Tantrayana Buddhism and Bön, this morning practice is a great compliment to Lhoppön Rinpoche's 10:00am teaching and meditation, also offered at Mayu on Sunday mornings.
